New Moon in Sagittarius - New Hope, Later Victory

We have been looking for a shift – in consciousness, in direction, and behavior, hoping that things will stabilize and chaos will settle. The New Moon in Sagittarius on January 12th gives us hope and inspiration that we can grow out of the muck and muddy water to bloom into higher vibrations and realms we didn’t quite believe were possible. Anything is possible when we are following Divine Truth.

I’ve heard it said that in order for find our balance, we first have to lose it. And we have lost balance and all sense of normalcy, right? Let’s try to bright-side our recent experiences and consider them to be necessary for us to ‘lose our balance’ so we can wholly embrace a new way of living to include the Universal Truths (also called the Ten Vishvadevas) – Goodness, Truth, Willpower, Skill, Time, Desire, Firmness, Ancestors, Brightness and Peak.

This inspired Moon in Sagittarius will have us feeling hopeful, inspired perhaps, but what is required for us to fully realize our hopes into reality is pure truth, honest actions and intentions.

The nakshatra (star constellation) that the Moon is in when it becomes darkest (New Moon) is called Uttar Ashada – which means ‘Later Victory’. This means if you follow the Universal Truths – the saplings of original divinity - you can grow in your triumphs and ensure victories. This cycle through Uttar Ashada grants success and to seal the deal, we must lean into our spiritual practices and adherence to the universal laws. We are seeking to solidify our hopes and inspiration as we move forward.

Thursday of this week will give us quite a bit of intensity in Capricorn – we will have 5 planets here. They are Moon (the mind), Mercury (intelligence, or lack thereof), Jupiter (hope/hopelessness), Saturn (endurance) and Sun (our power) in the sign where we tend to be serious, practical, too identified with our ‘stories’ or in the lower expression, where we will perhaps be indolent, pessimistic and miserly. Each of these planets will seek to express their energies here and it would serve us will to pray, pause and remember we are all connected to one another. We are humans having a spiritual experience here and now and each one of us is capable of the worst and the best – we really are. Drop the judgment, it’s a waste of energy, and step forward to being Light remembering that we are all the same on the inside. Sending you all my very best.
