Akshaya Tritya - 2021

Akshaya (non-depleting) Tritya (3rd Moon) is a very auspicious day in Vedic Astrology and in India. According to some of the great texts many bountiful boons happened on this day because of the luminaries' placement in the sky.

In astrological terms the Moon is exalted in Taurus and the Sun is exalted in Aries meaning they are both placed the signs where they both express their energies in the very best way.

The Moon is the Mind and generally fluctuations and jumps to and fro (like a monkey) and can very much anchor and ground in the earth sign of Taurus. This helps bring our thoughts and connections to thoughts to a more clear path and focus.

The Sun is the Soul and expresses the best in the fire sign of Aries bringing our true nature out to shine, perhaps helping us get to the space where we identify with who we really are and using our own talents and gifts to continue on the spiritual path.

This day is auspicious in that what we start here is supported, can bring success, happiness and prosperity. The luminaries' support is provided to what we begin in earnest if we do so from an authentic, humble place.

May you and yours be blessed with peace, prosperity and spiritual wealth.
